We (DePaul Computer Science Society) will be hosting a "meet-and-greet" event tomorrow (Tuesday, September 27, 2011) from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.  All members and DePaul students are welcome to attend.  This event is free and there will be free coffee and donuts.  More info on the event below:

CSS will be going to CHICAGO PB INDOOR 537 W. 195th Street Glenwood, IL 60425 April 23. We will meet up 10:00 a.m. and play until 5:00 p.m.

Tickets will cost $20 each, and will include everything (Transportation, Gear, C02, & paintballs).

Starting in the Fall of 2010:

Chris Miree will become President.
Joey Yeung will become Vice President.
Igor Kovalishin will remain Treasurer.
Sean Neilan will become Project Manager.

All were officers this past year and will continue their efforts to guide the society forward into the upcoming academic year!

For all of those interested in or already signed up for the Starcraft AI Competition, the Computer Science Society will be available to walk you through the code this Friday, April 30th at 1pm in the CSS office. There will be a short presentation on the packages and software required, an explanation of the code with some examples, followed by a trip to the 4th floor computing lab for some hands on assisted coding.

University's Vincentian Service Day. We will be going to the Oxfam -
Ginkgo Organic Gardens, a community garden growing fresh produce for
low-income and homeless people in the Uptown area of Chicago.

The Computer Science Society and friends went out to Chicagoland Paintball in Glenwood, IL! A total of 21 participants came along!

To all of you who made it out to our Paintball Outing yesterday, thank you! Thank you for making it so much fun!

Hello Computer Science Society fans!

We have been planning this paintball trip for what seems like ages now. We've managed to drop the price per person down to the all-inclusive price of $10 each. Transportation will be provided from and back to the DePaul Loop campus (just outside of the CDM building).

So far we have 15 confirmed. We have space for 9 more so if you'd like to go, shoot me an email at dblandin @ gmail dot com.

Here's the itinerary:

12pm - Leave CDM

1pm - Arrive at Chicagoland Paintball

1pm-4pm - Shoot Stuff!

4:30-5:30 - Eat Pizza!

6:30 - Arrive at CDM
